The five options

Platform What it is Strengths Trade-offs
ClickFunnels Pages, checkout, order bumps, one-click upsells, email and courses in one subscription Best fit for info-products, coaching and launches; no plugins to maintain Monthly fee; less design freedom than a custom site
WordPress + WooCommerce Own everything on a site you already run Lowest cost at scale, unlimited customisation You assemble and maintain the plugin stack; upsell flows need extra tools
Shopify Physical-product stores Best product checkout and shipping tools Not built for webinars, applications or info-product funnels
Kajabi / Kartra Course-first businesses Course delivery plus funnels and email Higher price; funnel flexibility varies
Leadpages / Carrd / Systeme Simple opt-in funnels on a small budget Cheap and fast Weak checkout, bumps and upsells

Our recommendation

If you sell information, coaching or services and want order bumps, one-click upsells and email follow-up working from day one without stitching tools together, build on ClickFunnels. If you already run a WordPress site and are comfortable maintaining plugins, stay on WordPress. If you sell physical products, use Shopify.
